Resonate is a community for people who are starting to explore what it means to follow Jesus. We hope to be a community where people may find help, encouragement and wisdom as they explore and live out their faith
What we believe
We exist to ENGAGE in relationships with people, so that they may EXPERIENCE the life-changing power of Christ, and be EQUIPPED to EXPAND the Kingdom of God.
Our accountability
Resonate is a congregation of the Wesleyan Church, and our pastors are licensed under their spiritual authority.
Meet our Staff
Gary Mammarello – Lead Pastor
Gary, his wife Bethany, and their four daughters moved to Florida in 2012 from Rochester, NY with a passion and calling to begin Resonate Church in Land O’ Lakes. Gary, along with a committed team of leaders, has seen Resonate Church grow from his living room to their current building. The mission of Resonate Church to “engage in relationships with people” has led him to also work bi-vocationally. Gary has served as a pastor in the Wesleyan Church for over 15 years.
Mike Oliver – Assistant/Youth Pastor
Hey everyone! My name is Mike Oliver and I’ve been an assistant pastor at Resonate since October 2019. I’ve been married to my wife (Kristen) for 12 years and have two awesome boys, Landon (10) and Lucas (7). I lead our AMP group ministry which is our home groups that meet weekly, our young adult ministry, and preach on Sunday mornings. We are a sports family with soccer and baseball as our primary sports. We love escape rooms, taking trips to Disney and vacationing in the mountains in a cabin.
Cailin DePestel – Worship Leader
Hi! I’m Cailin DePestel, the worship leader at Resonate Church. I have been attending Resonate since 2015, and stepped into this role late 2016. I love Resonate because it feels exactly like home, and it’s been a place that I’ve grown so much personally and spiritually. I have been playing guitar for over 17 years, and while it is my first love, I enjoy learning new instruments as I can. In my free time, I love being able to spend time with my husband and our 2 dogs. I enjoy baking and crafting as well.
Alisa Mammarello – rKids Director
Hi there. My name is Alisa and I am one of the leaders in the kids ministry here at Resonate. I am wife to Paul and mom to Zachary and Nathan. I have been teaching in kids ministry for the last 8+ years. I am a devoted follower of Christ and I am so honored to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus. Each Sunday morning I encourage parents to worship with their children. I believe worshipping the Lord as a family is such a sweet time to be together. After worship, the kids are dismissed into a separate kids room for a lesson and activity/craft that is tailored to their age group. After the lesson we have prayer requests and pray together, and they are dismissed as the other service ends. I am looking forward to meeting you and your family. Welcome to Resonate!
Caleb Bowen – Creative Communication Director
Hi, my name is Caleb Bowen, I serve as the tech guy at Resonate. I moved to Florida and started my role at Resonate in May of 2023. I am passionate about live production, and making worship as enjoyable an experience it can be for people through lighting and sound engineering. I also enjoy taking photos and videos, and creating content for social media from them. If you see a guy with a camera on Sunday morning, it’s probably me.
